Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007-2009 es una nueva colección centrada en el capítulo final de la célebre trayectoria de Ronnie James Dio con los miembros de Black Sabbath.

Ronnie James Dio se unió a Black Sabbath para el álbum Heaven And Hell, disco de platino de 1980. Cuando Dio se reunió con Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler y Vinny Appice de Black Sabbath entre 2007 y 2009, lo hicieron bajo el nombre de Heaven & Hell. Lanzaron los álbumes en vivo Live At Radio City Music Hall en 2007 y Neon Knights Live At Wacken en 2009, además de su único álbum de estudio, The Devil You Know, también en 2009.

Estas grabaciones se recopilan ahora bajo el título «Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007-2009» en un pack de 4 CD que incluye un Blu-ray con los conciertos en directo mencionados. Estas fueron las últimas grabaciones de Ronnie James Dio antes de su triste fallecimiento en 2010 y representan un testimonio digno de la música que creó con Black Sabbath, con temas de Heaven And Hell, Mob Rules, Dehumanizer y The Dio Years.
